ABTPL’s AM5000/1 is one of the latest G/EPON passive optical network communication terminal series, the product provides 1 10/100/1000M RJ45 interface, 1 optical fiber access, suitable for home and small business users, it can well meet the FTTH high-speed data transmission applications.
G/EPON
G/EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) is a new type of optical access network technology that uses point-to-multipoint architecture and passive optical fiber transmission to provide a variety of services over Ethernet. It is also called EPON. A number of different deployment scenarios have emerged that effectively leverage many of the strengths of the PON topology.
