 In this video, I have explained the log management function and standard syslog message format. And how to configure syslog in the Alpha Bridge Switch (AS200/10/T). 

The commands I use in this video will work on almost all switches. 

The application used for the Syslog server is 3CDaemon. 

Configuration for syslog in switch: 

Switch# Switch#config Switch_config# 

Switch_config#logging SERVER_IP Switch_config#

 Switch_config#logging buffered 409600 //creating buffered 

Switch_config#logging buffered debugging // Selecting the severity level
